Relaxing and problem free. We...

Liked: The room was on the top (3rd floor) with a view over the roof tops to the stands at Aintree race course. Although the hotel is on a busy road, traffic noise was not too intrusive. The room was large enough to accomodate twin beds and there was sufficient wardrobe and drawer storage. The bathroom was small but not too cramped. Everything worked well so no problems there. The breakfast was really good and was cooked to order - great not food!!
Disliked: It would have been good to have had more coffee sachets and more tea bags and milk tubs to cover for the fact that rooms are not cleaned daily unless directly requested. De-cafeinated coffee would have been a welcome option.

Ok but for the problems...

Liked: Breakfast was very good
Disliked: Could not get milk refill fro reception and not enough staff waiting to Lon at the bar also booked a restaurant table and reception did not find the email yet I had a confirmation email

I had my wedding reception...

Liked: Noisy due to location of hotel overlooking main busy road plus my room was at the front plus over reception. Wedding g party guests were Noisy after 11pm Breakfast was good plus staff member was lovely
Disliked: Noise position of room

Liked: Was very clean and comfortable
Disliked: The window in the room didn't shut properly which let a cold wind through.
