Disliked: The hotel is dated and quite shabby in the stairs and hallways.The bedroom was clean but dated and had a musty smell that needed the window to keep open. The TV in my room was positioned by the ceiling, which was difficult to view. The room was expensive for what it was, I expected more. Although the hotel was not full the night I stayed, the guests were in next door rooms and the walls are not well soundproofed.

I came for a Sunday...

Liked: The breakfast was just what I needed after a party the day before .
Disliked: The lift was out of order a lot of the time . I was on the 2nd floor. A member of staff kindly carried my luggage down when I checked out .The room had a couple of faults…wallpaper above the bed needed sticking down . The sofa bed looked a bit well used. I lifted the panel to see if I could out the heating on. It seemed to need a clean inside . I didn’t touch it.

A really nice and convenient...

Liked: Everything was very good inluding the lunch time meal
Disliked: The price---but I know it was a busy weekend in the area.

Liked: Room was comfortable and staff friendly
Disliked: Disappointed that when my son and grandson (8 years old) joined me for breakfast that I was charged £24 for their breakfasts when between them they ate less than one person. I was made aware after that it was a set charge but £12 for a child appears a little steep to me. I stay on average twice a year with you.

Liked: Used many times and always been OK but gone downhill in my estimation rooms looking tired
Disliked: Music blurring until 1am both nights room on 1st floor right above bar area should leave that floor for party guests and put others higher up was upgraded to an executive room and to be honest we have he'd better standard rooms in the past price was outrageous maybe because Springsteen was on at anfield breakfast on second day was buffet which I am not a fan of and the 1st time that has happened in all my stays the previous day it was served

Liked: Good facilities and nice breakfast.
Disliked: It was a little expensive. Stayed there for Bruce Springsteen concert, so prices were high.
