Liked: The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The hotel needs an upgrade. We were in suite 26, and the furniture was shabby.The evening meal was not enjoyable. I had the beef stroganoff, and my husband had a steak and peppercorn sauce. Neither of our sauces had any real flavour and were far too thin.

Comfortable, clean and very well...

Liked: I enjoyed the convenience of the location, (walking distance of town, bus connections, walking distance of ferry.) The room was clean, and comfortable. I did not eat at the hotel, as I had a delayed arrival on first night and was meeting up with friends for the rest of my stay.
Disliked: Was very happy with the hotel overall. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat at the hotel but all of my contacts with staff were very friendly and helpful. I needed to extend my stay unexpectedly and they tried to accomodate my requirements, then my god-daughter offered me a room at her little cottage and they were kind enough to cancel my extended booking without any fuss. Would stay here again.

Refreshing break away in homely...

Liked: The Hotel Staff go over and above to meet your requirements. Very friendly and helpful indeed. Breakfast is excellent with cereals, fruit juice, teas, coffees and cooked breakfast. Set us up for the journey home. Second time staying at the Park Hotel and will definitely be back.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing
