No room to swing a...

Liked: Great location for the tube and within walking distance a lovely restaurant we wanted to visit. Inside the hotel was quiet at night. The bath towels were nice and big. Check in was easy.
Disliked: The small bed that was in no way a double bed, squeezed into a room that should be a single, I had to climb over much husband during the night to go to the toilet, loose toilet seat, only one coffee cup, dust and hair around window, the bathroom door was filthy inside and out, dust on tiles in bathroom. There was some sort of fluid on the dirty white walls which resembled dried blood. There was a lightbulb missing, a lightbulb not working, the towel rail was bent, the smoke alarm and wall light were not secured to the ceiling and wall properly and there were cobwebs on the hairdryer. The bathroom light was rusty, there was limescale all around the shower head and black hairs on the tiles in the shower which weren’t ours as I have long blonde hair and my husband is bald.

Decent place if you're looking...

Liked: I liked the location. I felt pretty safe and comfortable. It was decently clean. Close to the subway station. Close to a nice Tesco and some nice pubs. Great amount of lighting. You get what you pay for.
Disliked: I was on the top floor, so it was extremely warm even when it was chilly outside. The bathroom had an off-putting smell. Staff was a bit rude and seemed annoyed that I was talking to them.

Not a proper hotel, no...

Liked: The location was good and places to eat close by
Disliked: Towels or rooms never made up or changed, they refused to provide wifi for the first couple of days, then it was provided after we advised that in the description of the hotel on booking.com wifi is mentioned in the rooms. The rooms are not like the picture, extremely worn out and damaged, the sink was clogged for a week and useless advising them.

See above

Liked: It was purely functional
Disliked: At age 68 I was installed in a 4th floor room. There was no lift. This is far too much for anybody of my age and the hotel needs to devote attention to this. Staff seemed disinterested in the matter, people who were on duty to earn a few bob not interested in the business if the hotel
