Very good

Liked: Room was small but clean, and because it was on basement level it was cool, given the temperature outside was36 degrees
Disliked: Wifi packed up within a couple of hours.

Good value for money, although...

Liked: Good location and lovely staff, ensuite was nice and room was clean, fairly cheap for London prices, especially in Kensington area.
Disliked: The room got very warm while we were there (although so was all of London ~29°C), seemed like the old ac system no longer works but there was a small fan in place. Budget double wasn't a great size for 2 people, the bed was too small to sleep comfortably, but would be good for a single person.

Liked: Close to the underground
Disliked: There was no air conditioning but the hotel had provided 2 very loud fans , so the option was to either not sleep due to the noise from the fans or to not sleep due to the heat in the room. Coupled with the fact that you could not fully open the windows the room was like a heat boxThe room itself was a shabby resemblance to the photographs of the room on the website. Torn wallpaper, wonky cheap cupboard, sliding door to toilet with no lower rails so it was as if it was going to fall off every time you opened it, soap dispenser above sink spat out the soap in all directions apart from the direction of your hands, no lifts in hotel, generally dated all round .

Disliked: This place is nowhere near what it looks like in the photos. For the money you pay, it's really not worth it. -no staff apart from between 3pm-8pm and the one we saw was miserable. On checkout, there's nobody around, no instructions, so we just left the key on a table
