Disliked: The restaurant staff (Ubaldo) and the front desk manager and hotel manager (Claudia and Rodrigo González) are running a scam. When you order room service, the server, Ubaldo, brings the portable credit card terminal and charges you in USD for a meal ordered in MXN. Conveniently, this was done the day before I was toCheck out.Then they claim to “have noticed” the mistake and notify the guest. In my case, they charged me $420 USD for a Cesar salad with chicken, instead of $420 MXN. They then gave me a convoluted story about how they can’t just credit my card and had me fill out a form that they claimed would then be processed by corporate and the finance department. It has been one week since they “alerted “ me of their “mistake”, and I am still waiting for a refund. The manager, Rodrigo González has stopped answering the phone. I left at 5:00AM the following day so I did not have time to file a police report but have taken the steps to deal with the charge with the credit card company.

Liked: The room was quite large and the bed was comfortable , breakfast buffet ok, restaurant staff attentive.
Disliked: I really didn't like the welcome at the reception, absolutely not worthy of a five-star hotel. The first thing they asked was for a credit card. When booking, I provided a credit card number, which was even more difficult to understand.I asked for a quiet room, I had to sleep with earplugs, it was a weekend and the hotel was absolutely empty. there was no problem with my room being on a higher floor, which the receptionist did not take into account.
