Good

Liked: Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. Close to all things downtown. Great bar staff and service staff. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Stop in for an Espresso Martini, very good!
Disliked: Manager was not very helpful. No welcome packet, which would've helped with knowing the valet hours of operation. Valet service was disorganized and expensive. They stop at 11pm, which was news to us because we didn't get the welcome package, so we had to park elsewhere. Breakfast not good. Better options all over Charleston. Don't be fooled by the "balcony" description, it's barely that. Overall, very expensive for what you get. There are way better options in Charleston.

I would definitely recommend the...

Liked: A nice hotel in an absolute prime location in Charleston downtown. The rooms are nicely decorated. My bathroom had a spacious walk in shower. The hotel offers a complementary continental breakfast. The selection is limited, but sufficient and of very good quality.
Disliked: Parking in general in Charleston downtown is a costly exercise. The hotel offers valet parking in its own small parking garage for $45 / $55 depending on the size of your car. It’s still a little bit more expensive than public parking in nearby public parking garage. But even if these parking garage is offer that the maximum daily tariff is $24, you must be aware that a day ends and starts at midnight and the hourly rate is $3. That means, if you park your car more than eight hours before midnight and take it out more than eight hours after midnight parking, your parking fee is $48.

Definitely overpriced and lacking any...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Way overpriced for pathetic amenities. For 850 a free water in the tiny cramped room would have been the least they could offer. Balcony was so narrow you could not even use, Very cramped small entry/checkin/bar uncomfortably small. Breakfast included was a very lacking dry biscuit and rubber hard boiled egg. So many better choices in this lovely city.
