We came to the area...

Liked: We had a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a king sized bed a Jacuzzi and a spacious sitting room with a deck. The receptionist was very friendly knowledgeable and gave us a great recommendation for dining.
Disliked: I wish we had longer to stay.

Think we it caught between...

Liked: I’ll start by saying the staff was very nice, the location was great but the photos and descriptions don’t match its current state. I do believe they are in the beginnings of a renovation so I’m hopeful. At $300.00 a night plus spa fees it was very disappointing. We were first put in “the chalet”, this is a separate house that honestly resembles a frat house. It was clean inside I think. We didn’t stay long and asked to be moved. Our new room was newer, brighter, the mattress was very good but the room was not clean, hand prints on the wall, sticky stuff on the table, open sugar packets. The “spa fee” is for tennis courts, small golf course and two pools. The out door pool was dirty with broken chairs and the kiddy pool was full o green algae and had a rubber glove floating in it. We didn’t stay long here either. The indoor pool looked clean but oddly located around the back and under some hotel rooms, we didn’t try it. When we left we spoke to staff and they were very nice and got back to us promptly, we wanted the spa fee removed. It is expensive to stay in Manchester and this was the cheapest, however $300.00 per night should at least come with clean updated facilities.

Disappointing stay in a motel...

Liked: Tennis courts
Disliked: The rooms were old and dirty. The air conditioning was not working. The beds were advertised as queens but were doubles which was a challenge for everyone in our party with families. The golf course was not mowed. The indoor swimming pool area was dirty and humid. On top of this, the biggest challenge is that the management couldn’t be troubled to speak with their guests to address their concerns leaving it all up to one beleaguered front desk staff member. Overall a very poor experience.
