Cost of valet should be advertised as well as cost of parking at your hotel.

In my opinion this room did not stand up to the Palmer House's reputation. I doubt that we will stay there in the future.

Liked: The room was nice and big and very clean. When we checked out we were asked about our stay and told the person checking us out about the situation and she took $20.00 off our bill.
Disliked: We had reserved the room for 3 people. When we arrived, there was only 2 chairs to sit on and no sofa. Also, there was only 2 drinking glasses. When we retired for the night, we discovered that the toilet would not flush and almost overflowed. We had to call a plumber at 11:30p.m. to come up and take care of it. He did arrive and we thought it was taken care of, but the next morning when we were getting ready for the day, once again it would not flush. We ended up having to use the bathroom down in the lobby.

An overall great experience! Accommodations are lovely; food is great; easy in/easy out; parking, etc. However, they distinguish themselves for their customer service. Especially the doormen; bellboys; luggage storage; valet guys. Genuinely friendly and concerned. We loved them and would stay at the Palmer House many times again.
