Liked: Close to where I needed to get to in the morning. Cheap for the area.
Disliked: Room was mouldy on the windows. The communal bathrooms/showers need more cleaning attention.

Liked: Everything was very clean always, bathroom and showers. The kitchen you can use 24h even after check out. The free activities are amazing, super good!
Disliked: It’s very noisy, with no control over quiet hours. In my first room, people were talking the whole night, and in the second one, guests were packing and chatting in the hallway until midnight. I understand it’s a hostel, but there should be stricter rules about parties or gatherings inside the rooms or hallways. Explaining and enforcing silence hours is important, no matter if people are partying with friends or doing something else.

Liked: Staff were great. Beautiful building in an excellent location - short walk to the harbour, botanical gardens, art gallery, etc. Big car park opposite. Close to pubs/restaurants. Adequate kitchen facilities, breakfast basic but fine. Storage & locking cupboards available, study room.Plenty of sockets in the dormitories. Toilets/showers good.
Disliked: You had to remember your phone each time you left your room (night toilet trips, eg) or you're locked out - unless you could remember the manual code!

Liked: A great hostel, has really comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and a kind staff. Showers and toilets were really clean.
Disliked: The breakfast is very minimal, but is free of charge so no complaint really
