Friendly, clean and inviting stay

Liked: The Oxboble was extremely inviting, really friendly staff with a comfortable pub with a good menu. The rooms were clean, there was a kettle with tea and coffee and biscuits. We were able to cast from our phones to the tv. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The price was also really great- considering so many hotels increased their prices massively due to it being Robbie William’s show dates. It was super close to deansgate station which was great, had a nice park/grassy area next door. We would definitely return in the future :)
Disliked: Our room wasn’t ready for check-in- as there was an issue with the bathroom that was being fixed. They offered us free drinks while we waited. This would usually be fine, and they were kind and apologetic about the situation- it was just a shame as we had a very limited amount of time before we had to go out again and I lost out on really important rest time (chronically ill with ME/CFS). The room was really warm, it was quite a hot day when we stayed- there is no air con and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our window open at night as it was quite close to floor level/had ledges. For some reason the radiator was on full in the bathroom which we had no way of turning off- we only realised when we got back late. We were told management had only recently been changed over and that there were still a few teething problems. Im sure with time these small issues will be resolved. A suggestion I have is to maybe offer fans during the warmer months?

Great Accommodation in a great...

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, as well as the breakfast.
Disliked: The tv wouldn't connect to the Internet, and I had to tether from my phone to watch anything. As mentioned by the Hotel. , be aware of traffic noise so come prepared with ear buds if you are a light sleeper.

Liked: Nice hotel, comfortable room and location was very good for centre
Disliked: Couldn't contact the hotel by phone prior to stay and no wifi or tv. Problems due to change of ownership
