Stylish hotel in the heart...

Liked: Very stylish hotel with lots of unique details: record players in rooms with access to the hotel record collection; local art on display; terrific food and drink menu; performing art space; etc.
Disliked: No complaints.

A wonderful experience, we will...

Liked: We loved the laid-back, artsy feel of the hotel. The location is superb. This section of Eau Claire is going through a rebirth and we were happy to take advantage. We had a 25-minute walk to a ballgame one night, and 15 minutes to live outdoor music the next. The city's magnificent trail system is just across the street. The Oxbow is also a terrific value. We will definitely be back.
Disliked: The futon/couch in our room was not comfortable.

Great location very comfortable stay.

Liked: The location was perfect to walk around and see the downtown!
Disliked: Restaurant was not open on Sunday or Monday the only two days we were there

A very fun night, not...

Liked: Loved the turntable in our room, with LPs at the reception area to check out (on an old library card check-out) and enjoy. Walked all over Eau Claire for dinner, then landed in the hotel's restaurant on drag bingo night instead. Great hors d'oeuvres and atmosphere.
Disliked: We never really found a good casual restaurant in our walks. Part of the problem could have been that we didn't really know what we wanted.

A very welcome break with...

Liked: It was a nice break from the typical hotel experience. the record player in the room and the ability to check out records and games made the experience even better.

Friendly hotel staff made sure...

Liked: Close to the river, humble but aesthetically pleasing decor.
Disliked: Stairs up to the second level of flats had severe water damage, seemed like a tripping hazard/liability.
