Liked: Room was comfortable. Issue with tv remote control was quickly resolved. Early evening noise from the emergency door near my room, I presume with people leaving. Door banging when leaving.Bed comfortable. Peaceful night later.
Disliked: Noise of workers leaving by back door.

Liked: Lovely, cosy hotel with plenty of vintage charm, which I choose to visit regularly.
Disliked: Not sure the marble lobby is truly in keeping with the old world style of the place. Ambient music is a bad idea. Music tastes vary and quiet has its own, peaceful charm.The lighting in the upstairs corridors is too dark and dingy. You can have old world charm and still be bright and cheery.
