Le Rempart is not a...

Liked: The preparation of the food was good and the location for the bicycle storage was safe.
Disliked: The bar service, restaurant service and front desk service personal were short, curt and not very helpful. Additionally the comfort and location of the room(Dungeon) and accessibility to the room was horrible. Up and down several flights of narrow spiral stairs in the dark to access the room and then in turn to access breakfast and dinner. The room was a through back to the early 1900s.

Disliked: Restaurant was so so. I had rump steak that was the toughest piece of meet I’ve ever had. Not what you would expect from a otherwise good restaurant.

Liked: Room ready for us on arrival and very clean.
Disliked: We got the 'unrefurbished room; so, the air condition was noisy and there was no shower- just a shower attachment to the bath. the staff was not specialy friendly and helpful
