The Spotlight on The One Boutique Hotel

Skyline Views and Spa Vibes in Flushing

Modern and sleek, The One Boutique Hotel offers a boutique-style stay in the heart of Flushing, Queens. With its rooftop lounge boasting panoramic city views, this hotel blends urban energy with relaxing touches like spa discounts and nightly wine receptions. Its stylish rooms come with flat-screen TVs, coffee machines, and minibars, plus plush extras like bathrobes and high-end toiletries.

Located just over a mile from major attractions like Citi Field and minutes from Flushing’s buzzing nightlife and dining, The One Boutique Hotel is an ideal home base for concert-goers looking for a mix of comfort and excitement.

Why Concert-goers love it

Music lovers appreciate the hotel’s proximity to major performance venues and easy access to public transport. The 24-hour front desk and late check-out at 12:00 mean you don’t have to rush after a late show. Thanks to double-paned windows and a more residential Flushing location, guests often comment on the surprisingly quiet rooms—perfect for recharging after a loud night. The nightly wine reception also makes it easy to ease into or out of your concert night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish hangout before or after a show
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list performance
  • Couples planning a fun weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a quieter place to crash after the encore
  • Budget-conscious music lovers wanting upscale touches without Manhattan prices

Food and Drink Options

The hotel is surrounded by a wide variety of walkable dining options—from late-night dumpling spots to trendy cafes. While there’s no on-site restaurant, the mini-bar and coffee machine in each room are a welcome touch. Guests can also enjoy the nightly wine reception, and there are plenty of breakfast spots nearby to help you recover the morning after.

Nightlife Options

The highlight here is the hotel’s rooftop lounge, offering sweeping views and a great pre- or post-show atmosphere. Flushing’s growing scene of bars and lounges is just steps away, and if you’re up for it, Manhattan nightlife is just a quick train ride away.

What People Say

Guests love the modern, clean rooms and especially the spa-like bathrooms. Many highlight the friendly staff and the convenient location near transit and dining. The rooftop lounge gets frequent shout-outs for its ambiance and views.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the hotel’s entrance can be a bit tricky to find, and that parking in the area can be limited. Also, while the rooftop is a great feature, it’s not always open year-round.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert in Queens or nearby NYC venues, The One Boutique Hotel is a stylish, peaceful retreat with skyline views and all-night flexibility.

No stress, comfortable, and exactly...

Liked: Initially I was a little confused by the showered set up but I found it was not as odd as I thought it would be. The shower and bathroom sink were combined. It was not an issue, I expected that it would be a problem but it was not, nothing got soaked and it was nice to have everything in one place. The staff were also very nice. Every person I spoke to was kind, helpful, and friendly. My flight out got cancelled and they were able to accommodate an extension of my stay without any stress. There is a police station next door, an Historic Quaker Meeting house, and an amazing bakery on the block. Pretty chill neighbourhood.
Disliked: I did have a little problem sorting out how to use the television. I only wanted to watch something once as I was pretty busy. I ended up watching Netflix on the previous persons account (Spanish with English subtitles). It wasn’t a problem necessarily.

Expect a sudden! $100 deposit...

Liked: It was comfortable..
Disliked: First of all, I arrived and instantly was informed to pay a $100 deposit to put down before i could check in, even though i already paid in full through Booking.com. (Which i’m still awaiting to be returned) Staff didn’t really explain how anything works in the hotel from the lights/key card situation to keep the lights from constantly cutting off. Nor did they explain how the toilet, faucet, shower combo all in one situation works, Which btw the 3 in 1 bathroom conjoined situation was really messy & inconvenient. To the point i had to constantly put the provided hotel towels down on the floor to soak up some of the water from leaking over from the shower area into the toilet area. Yuck! and Room service never came to clean the room once during my two night stay. Front staff felt a bit careless and nonchalant towards questions i had about the room or of the area. (Which btw is like china town around the whole area surrounding the hotel with many asian owned shops and businesses so I felt very foreign to the area).

Exceptional

Liked: I had the suite. It was very unique, a very open space. I loved it!! The lighting in the room was a little confusing as well as the T.V, but after I figured it out, everything was great. I enjoyed my stay.
Disliked: It was a little confusing when you first walked in looking for the light switch and then realized you need the room key to keep the lights on? The TV is not made for the computer illiterate. Hehe, all and all, it was a great room, so I have no negative thoughts.
