The Omni King Edward Hotel

Decently close to theatre. Staff at front desk were great. Consort bar staff were great. Colour scheme gloomy.

Liked: Little coffee shop (with Italian type treats).
Disliked: Trying to figure out free breakfast. The oatmeal I had for breakfast was not oatmeal but basically rice crispies and cornflakes.

A great place to stay in Toronto. Definitely would stay again. Good staff and food. Not much bad to say about this hotel.

Liked: Front door guys very helpful.

Liked: Wonderful hotel, combining luxury and historical architecture. All staff very attentive, kind, helpful, we even had a pleasure to meet the hotel manager and his team, immediately offering us a help with a luggage when seeing us with children and 8 suitcases.Sadly we couldn't prolong our stay since the hotel was fully booked out.Room super spacious, super comfortable.We recommend to book the breakfast package in advance since later there is only a la carte restaurant.Garage parking right next to the hotel, subway 2 min walking.Our kids were thrilled.
Disliked: The room was too dark since the windows were facing the inyard.

Beautiful hotel

Liked: Lovely hotel. We had booked 2 x twin rooms but they only had one. So upgraded us to a luxury suite. Super helpful and friendly staff. They also donate a meal to the homeless for every day you dont have housekeeping.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Fabulous grand old hotel , great staff ( thankyou to manager Patrick who told us the history of the hotel ) we stayed in the king room and will certainly come again

Liked: Lovely welcoming hotel, very clean and well presented. In the heart of Toronto and accessible to all of the central city. Restaurant bar was lovely and the food was reasonable considering the hotel and location. Staff exceptionally helpful.
Disliked: Fridge didn’t work but they brought another fridge within 30 minutes

Great place to stay when...

Liked: The hotel facilities, services, staff, friendliness is just great and as you expect from a 5-star hotel. You feel really welcome and pampered.
Disliked: Breakfast room is not really special as compared to the rest of the facilities. While all was great, if I have to comment in order to make improvements, as a runner I love to be welcomed by fresh face cleaning towels and water when back from an early morning run :-)
