Liked: the space, the views, the location, the history it all, the luxury!
Disliked: room 648 was too HOT at night. it might be because of the sunroof.

Liked: Rooms were nice and service was good. Fitness facility was exceptional and Blue Ridge breakfast was great.
Disliked: Beds were hard and seems to have toilet plumbing issues in rooms and public restrooms.

Liked: The spa, the decor, the ambience, the personnel and staff, the way everyone spoke eloquently when serving you, the scenery, the vistas, the Great Hall, the history, the way everyone seemed to be informed and able to answer any question posed to them.
Disliked: Nothing!

Disliked: I paid extra for a beautiful room and view. However the view was covered up by a huge tree

Liked: The history, view, and structure were wonderful. The spa and food were truly AMAZING!
Disliked: The room in the 'new wing' of the building was run down, outdated, broken furniture, and dirty. The bed was sunken inn as though people had rested there for years. The pillows were so thin that your head would sink all the way to the mattress. The room itself was the only downfall of our stay, but not getting a good night's sleep in such sub standard accommodations has a direct affect on the rest of the stay.
