The staff was extremely welcoming...

Liked: The location was amazing and so cozy. Easy access to ocean and quaint little shops.
Disliked: It’s a bit outdated, but that what also part of its charm.

Exceptional

Basic rental, no extras, good...

Liked: Location was good… that’s it
Disliked: Room doors are sliders, I asked for a ground floor room,, “yup” the ground floor room was up 2 flights of stairs, I’m handicapped. Other rooms were loud. It’s a room, that’s all you get.

Very good

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, comfy beds.
Disliked: Bathroom could do with an update but everything worked adequately.

Damp, smelly, uncomfortable

Liked: The property smells damp and the rooms have a very bad odour. The place looks like it needs a serious refurbishment and is very dated. The rooms felt very damp and cold when arriving. The sheets smelled the same and staying there was very uncomfortable.
Disliked: All of the above.

Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Spacious rooms, lovely front desk lady, comfy bed, quiet and clean and tasty little breakfast. Loved it.

Good

Liked: The beds were comfy, the bathroom was decent the size of room was good the breakfast was perfect and the lobby coffee was excellent
Disliked: Almost zero view of ocean and I requested ocean view, the heat was really hard to regulate, we had to move a super heavy chair out of the way to find the heater, there was a gap under door so drafty, super noisy, you could hear the pipes when other guests took showers

Pleasant

Liked: Great Location, walk to the tide pools/beach and historic lighthouse. For the price, we got what we expected. The staff was friendly, overall good value.
Disliked: The room was clean enough, but things like the tub grout were old and it showed. The room was kinda musty, but that is to be expected from these old buildings, with minimal ventilation.
