Liked: We overall enjoyed this small, privately owned, historic hotel. It is located in the historical part of the city, quite close to the port. There is a very nice coffee shop within a 5-minute walk, but there is also a coffee maker in the hotel room. The room is quite large with 2 queen size beds with a comfortable mattress and good quality linen. The bathroom is well equipped with everything you need. There is even a clothes steamer, which is not very common in hotels. Excellent water pressure. But I want to draw the attention of the hotel owners to the swinging toilet. This can lead to a big problem. In this room, unfortunately, the air conditioner was noisy, we reported this to the owners, but at the moment they could not fix it, so we simply turned it off. The night was cool, the room was large, so we didn't feel stuffy. I would like to wish the owners to fix these problems, then everything will be fine.

Liked: It was unique and clean. And the bed was comfortable. And the price was good.
Disliked: There were homeless people walking around the alley, which is right next to where we had to park. I was worried about my car being safe through the night.

I would not recommend staying here. The host is a scammer.

Liked: The room was nicely decorated but thats about it.
Disliked: The room had various annoying noises that made it difficult to sleep. The fridge and the AC unit to name a few examples. The toilet was loosely attached to the floor and didnt feel safe to use. We decided to leave a day early without expecting to get a refund and just cut our losses. The host then thought it would be appropriate to accuse us of loss of revenue because we didnt cancel the second night. There were no other guests staying at the hotel and plenty of other rooms willing guests could occupy but there were none. I just thought it was it poor taste to host like this and a bad way to run business.
