Weekend Away
Liked: The location, the old main building and the room were very nice. Plenty of free parking and a nice pub restaurant.
Disliked: The TV in the room was diabolical, it's an old Sharp (cheap) model and really needs updating to something more modern. My partners.dinnwr on the first night was a major disappointment for her..the fancy pie she ordered turned out to be basically a small but deep bowl, that looked like it had been filled with a stew or something from a slow cooker, and then had a square of puff pastry put over the top. The stew/pie was ok but quite liquidy, she didn't eat the pastry nor the mash that looked like it had been over re heated in a microwave. She did comment on her disappointment, and the waitress offered her a free dessert, which was at least something. My two pork steaks, chips and peas (a lot of peas) was excellent.the onion rings were soggy and undercooked inside.

Liked: It's set in a beautiful part of the world and a really pleasant village. The staff were amazing - very friendly. The rooms were really clean indeed and freshened each day. You must try the Norfolk Adder cider if you like cider. It's very nice indeed from the draught.Food was fantastic. Freshly cooked and served on hot plates which ch is not something you get everywhere and mak s w difference.I will return for sure whenever I am in the area.

I would have no hesitation...
Liked: A Perfect Stay at The Olde Windmill Inn in Great Cressingham, NorfolkWe enjoyed staying at The Olde Windmill Inn during a two-day trip to Norfolk for a local event. This charming historic Inn exceeded our expectations in every possible way.Firstly, the Inn's ambience is nothing short of enchanting. The place's historic character adds a unique and cosy feel you can't find in modern hotels. Every nook and corner tells a story, making our stay exciting and comfortable. The staff at The Olde Windmill Inn were superb. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, they ensured we had everything we needed and more. Their recommendations for local sights and eateries were spot-on, enhancing our overall experience. We were also deeply impressed by the local community. The people in Norfolk were incredibly welcoming, making us feel like part of the village rather than just visitors. This connection added a lovely personal touch to our trip.Given the delightful experience, if we find ourselves in Norfolk again, there is no question about where we will stay. The Olde Windmill Inn would undoubtedly be our first choice once more. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants to enjoy a blend of historic charm and excellent service.
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like. Some might say the pub's location is a bit rural, but it suited our expectations and was only 20 minutes away from our outdoor event.

Comfortable and traditional countryside inn
Liked: Comfortable and well located country inn. Friendly staff , comfortable room and tasty breakfast.
Disliked: The room was fine for me as a single traveller but would have been slightly on the small side for a couple as one side of the double bed was close to the wall.
