Very good
Liked: Lovely, helpfull owner, stayed as visiting Thorpe park, location is brilliant! Comfortable clean beds and fan provided in room as it was very hot during our stay. Plenty of shops and eating places on your doorstep.
Disliked: Not a major issue but bath towels were quite small, its an old building which is fine but the lock on the door to the actual room was a bit loose and wobbly, didnt seem too secure but it did do the job.

Delightful old property with plenty...
Liked: I checked in with Denise, having booked the room only an hour or so before. Denise was cheerful and helpful as she guided me to my room, explaining the keys, the fire exits, and the location of the key deposit box for checking out the next morning. She also told me about the hotel facilities, the places nearby open for breakfast, and a little bit about the history of the hotel. She was kind enough to come to the car park with me to make sure that I had parked my (oversized!) rental car in an appropriate parking bay.The room was delightful, with coffee, tea, snacks and a bottle of water, as well as leaflets detailing more on the history of the listed building, as well as information on local eateries, public transport and taxis.I love quirky and unusual buildings, so I was delighted that the room still had its original sash windows, just like the ones I had in my bedroom growing up. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and wish it had been for longer.
Disliked: The directions to the car park at the rear of the building could have been better, although I'd had several particularly arduous flights so this could have been user error! I was driving south west on Windsor Street, and turned right onto Guildford Street having passed with The Olde Swan Hotel on my right. The SatNav then tried to take me on a right turn through an impossibly tiny gap onto Gogmore Lane. There were street bollards on either side of this road, which I was not comfortable driving between in the hired Peugeot 3008. I reversed back out, continued south on Guildford Street, turned right onto Riversdell Close, and then right again onto Gogmore Lane, this time from a much more pleasing angle :) Following that lane north then takes you to the car park - phew!I just thought this might be useful for anyone else taking this approach - far less daunting!

Very good
Liked: A nice old fashioned pub, with friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere in the centre of Chertsey. My room was clean and comfortable. Although they don't offer breakfast, there are plenty of places within a short walk.
Disliked: No real complaints, it's a lovely old building, so the stairs up to the rooms are a bit steep.
