Tantalising Tintagel

Liked: The location of The Olde Malthouse was excellent, being near the walks to the castle and coastal paths.The staff at the hotel were extremely professional, friendly, efficient and helpful. They are an absolute credit to the business. We felt welcome from leaving our bags before checking in, during our stay and on checking out. We ate at their restaurant on both nights of our stay. The food was delicious. The breakfast choices were extensive and also lovely. The pre-ordering system worked very well.The room was clean. It had a kettle with lots of tea, coffee and milk. The shower was strong.
Disliked: Nothing really. If we were being picky, the room and bathroom could have been bigger! It also took time getting used to having a separate sink in the bedroom! However, everything else mentioned above surpassed these preferences.

What a stay!

Liked: Food was outstanding, locally sourced and full of flavour, great location with a building full of character
Disliked: Only issue we had was with the bathroom door as it was a bit squeaky but was not a major issue

Would gladly stay there again.

Liked: The breakfast was just what we needed to get our day started. The food was hot and fresh.
Disliked: Not so many narrow winding roads to get there, but that's beyond their control. Nothing not to like at the Inn.

The Olde Malthouse Inn is...

Liked: This was our 6th visit to The Olde Malthouse and as always we were not disappointed. Jamie, Ben and all the team team who work there are so attentive and friendly, couldn't ask for better service. The rooms are quirky and comfy and the food was fab

Disliked: Food was okay but too expensive for what it was. Room too small. Wasn't feeling very well so maybe my judgement is influenced by that

Stunning location. Very comfortable bed...

Liked: The location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The EV charger was a three pin plug. No dedicated EV charging bay so uanble to charge car.

Historic quaint Inn with great...

Liked: The warmth, history and quirkiness of the Inn. The friendly staff, good food and access to attractions was great. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are very clean and modern. Private parking off the street.
