Disliked: Lack of parking, had to hope there was space on the street behind the pub.

Liked: It was in a lovely part of Hemel Hempstead close to all amenities and night life.
Disliked: Not quite as clean as I would have liked, sheets and pillows brilliant then spoilt by extra pillows and throw that looked very grubby. Okay for one night but not long stay.

Liked: The staff were SO friendly and helpful! Breakfast was a delight and again great service from the staff.
Disliked: The rooms need a deep clean. A good carpet shampooing and deep clean of the bathrooms would go a long way! Nobody wants to walk into a bathroom with mildew on the shower curtains and walls.

Very dirty room! Be warned.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: We entered the room and it had a smell of damp … we walked into the bathroom to find all sort of body hair all over the floor. It’s the kind of room you walk around with shoes after the shower so your feet don’t get dirty. Just update your rooms … up the price and have a nice place.

Liked: Beds were very comfortable, we asked for single beds and were given a family room (one double & single)Large towelsLovely staff, we had dinner the first night and breakfast the first morning and the guys who were working were lovely. Very friendly and helpful, I can't remember their names.The food was lovely and had great gluten free options
Disliked: The shower was a bit tricky to work.I didn't realise that the rooms were directly over and outside the pub's smoking area. Since we were staying on a Friday and Saturday so we did have some outside noise and the windows we think are single glazed. But we're heavy enough sleepers but might not suit light sleepers.
