Good as always

Liked: We stay here many times it is all good.
Disliked: The expectations of other guests and how rude they are to staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. When we stayed they had a wedding on and two other functions as well as just the normal hotel guests and they were all briiliant.

Disliked: The car park and surrounding area seemed Untidy rubbish bags on the floor as bins over full

Liked: Room size, clean bathroom, friendly staff, good location
Disliked: Bathroom radiator didn't work

Disappointed. Not a patch on...

Liked: Lovely comfortable bed. Quiet location but also close to the A1. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Awful communication. Received numerous messages and emails asking me to book in for dinner due to tables filling up fast. Then was told (after I'd booked and paid) only a few days before our visit that the restaurant wasn't even open that evening. Awful smell of drains on the walk to our rooms. Short staffed in the bar and check in was a phaff. Towel hook hanging off the back of the bathroom door and hot tap came out of the wall.

Disliked: Manky carpets. Poor quality window frames with windows failing to shut and seal as they should. Rubbish flush on toilet. Towel rails loose on wall…just poor quality all round. Carpet at base of stairs desperately calling out to be replaced. Astro outside with tables just awful….

Disliked: Long wait between food orders and no restaurant open on Sundays.
