The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant

Very quiet and restful. Beautiful...

Liked: Everyone was very helpful from the outset, we were going to a wedding and they offered somewhere to get changed if our room was not ready. The room was large with a 4 poster bed and the bathroom was well appointed. Old furniture and a good view fitted well with the house. Breakfast was just what we wanted tea, coffee, toast and fresh pastries but full English or other cooked dishes, a good selection, were on the menu.
Disliked: It is in need of a bit of TLC in places, stair carpet, a sash was broken on one of our windows, the curtains and blinds are nearing time to change (some mould at the hem and loose threads on the blinds). Some things would be easy to sort out.

Liked: Really lovely hotel - beautiful decor and a lovely cosy atmosphere. Great breakfast.

Nice stay, too many wasps

Liked: Nice old fashioned building with clearly a lot of history in it. Lovely breakfast. Staff couldn’t do enough all very lovely
Disliked: Dead wasps all in the room on arrival multiple wasps getting in during the stay. No shower curtain.

Lovely quaint OLD place in...

Liked: A very lovely location in the county. A character filled very quaint with lovely place that tranquil and peaceful. rooms are quite large and spacious. we alked into town and the local pub was well worth it. great food.
Disliked: Do not expect to have modern finishes or equipment. The bed is swayed, pillows hard and very old and the installed hairdryer was probably older than me!

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely old property with large bedroom, comfy bed, modern bathroom, fabulous countryside views. Friendly, accommodating hosts, delicious breakfast, beautiful garden, on the edge of a beautiful little Shropshire village.
