Hotel Description
A former railway station set in 2 acres of landscaped garden The Old Station Guest House consists of of the main building and a train carriage converted into suites. Guests can practice their golf on the lawns while the famous seafront St Andrews Links are a 10-minute drive. The Old Station has been fully renovated and features modern bedrooms decorated in a traditional style with sash windows and warm tones. Carriage suites come with a small kitchen area while all accommodations comes en suite with tea/coffee-making facilities and a TV with satellite channels. Continental and cooked breakfasts are served daily in the bright breakfast room which used to be the station platform. For other meals guests are just 5 minutes' drive from the center of St Andrews with its variety of restaurants. The 4-star Old Station Guest House also offers a billiards room and library with free Wi-Fi in public areas. There are several more golf courses within a 20-minute drive.

Superb

Liked: Our room was lovely and a great breakfast. We received a very warm welcome from Dean who made us feel at home.
Disliked: We could hear quite a lot of noise early in the morning from other guests who appeared to be going in and out of their room/s. However, we didn't notice this on the second morning.

Rural location with parking. Short...

Liked: Dean the owner was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast slot was between 9-10am. Would prefer 8-10am.
