Clean & tidy room, breakfast...

Liked: Breakfast was a continental style one where you could help yourself and there was certainly lots of choices available. Location wise it was about 5 minutes in the car to the motorway and had a bus stop outside if you needed public transport
Disliked: Everything was fine, can't really say anything negative

Liked: As you can see from my last few reviews, I’ve been staying at the Old Star every week for several months now. I keep coming back and would happily recommend it for several reasons:- A lovely owner who really looks after you and makes an effort- Efficient, flexible check in and check out, great if you want to come and go quickly without hassle- An EV charger, which is very useful for me, with costs kept moderate and simply passed through- A quick self serve breakfast that’s perfect if you want to get going early in the morning- Comfortable, clean rooms, I always sleep well and the beds are excellent

A great place to stay...

Liked: Clean and tidy bedroom and eating area for breakfast. Large range of continental breakfast items. Quiet and easy to find. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing

Good

Liked: Parking on site, private toilet and bathroom. Place was clean, good location near Bristol. Good pub nearby!
Disliked: Bed wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast is okay. Bread, fruit, cereals, drinks you grab yourselves. It isn't really prepared like an English/Continental/American breakfast as we expected.
