Perfect place to stay for...

Liked: Great location to the city with parking. The bus stop is directly outside and takes only 15mins into town. There are only 3 rooms available and we had 2, so it was like having the place to ourselves. Great facilities with a 'help yourself' breakfast with lots of choice and food!. Karen was lovely, and the contact before we stayed was great! Very very helpful and recommend as a place to stay!
Disliked: The automatic lights for the bathroom stayed on a while after closing the door, so if you get up in the night to use the bathroom, this may be annoying. I had an eyemask, so it wasn't an issue, but my sister didn't and mentioned this.

Very pleased and would stay...

Liked: The lodgings are a short distance out of Bristol city centre, I was made to feel very welcome. There are a few shops, a takeaway and a pub about 400 yards up the road. Breakfast was very relaxed and I didn't feel under any pressure to rush.
Disliked: Despite it's name The Old Star is not a pub and arriving at night is a bit hard to spot. The entrance is on a busy main road so if travelling by car be prepared to make a sudden turn and be honked by other drivers.
