Great B&B for anyone needing...

Liked: Just right for a one night stop over while we were nearby for a wedding. Small room but very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The serve yourself breakfast was fine with a wide selection to chose from. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bed could do with a thinner duvet available for summer use by those of us warm souls. In fairness I didn't ask if one was available.

Excellent

Liked: We stayed at The Old Star for one night but would happily have stayed longer. Karen, our host, welcomed us and explained how everything worked. The room was lovely, clean, very comfortable and we had a very peaceful night’s sleep. In addition there was a kitchen and breakfast room where we could help ourselves during our stay. There was no rushing us out in the morning, we just took our time and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. The icing on the cake was the free parking. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.
