There was excessive street noise from outside our bedroom which went on until 4.30am. Then a council dust-cart arrived to wake us at 7.45am. The hotel made no effort to move us, listen to us or alleviate our distress in anyway. We had no sleep at all, except for 2 hours between the outside noise abating and the dustcart arriving. The hotel should warn guests beforehand that there is excessive street noise from two pubs outside the room. This hotel wanted our money and cared about nothing else. The reception staff just said sorry, smiled and did nothing.

Liked: The staff are always extremely helpfull and the position of the hotel is fab have been coming to the ship for years
Disliked: It is beginning to look a bit tired in places but it is an old hotel speaking to the staff it is about to be refurbished can't wait

Liked: Location is good, as it is on the seafront and close to everything.Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There was no mention that the hotel car park had to be paid for, it just mentions "first come first served".I paid for breakfast to be included but was handed a pink card which mentioned £17.95 for full English.The view from my room was the back of other dirty buildings and fire escapes.Room was looking very old and desperate need of redecoration.

Liked: Friendly helpful reception staff,bar food very nice( we had the burgers) and a great location. Will definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Breakfast was very disappointing. Tepid at best and on one day the eggs were actually cold. There was no choice of eggs - just fried - and the tomatoes were tinned. There were no extra choices like porridge or kippers.
