Arrived at hotel to find...

Liked: Nice hotel

Comfortable, clean and good location

Liked: Room was really good size, clean, the twin beds were not next to each other and the room was comfortable. The private car park at the back made me feel safe leaving the car. It was a really good location for our needs. Plenty of storage.
Disliked: On arrival it was not clear which door was the front door and that we are meant to ring the door bell. We also had to wait a while for the door to be answered. Breakfast was extremely limited. More options would have been appreciated for example, toast, hot chocolate powder, butter and juice options.The rooms are comfortable however tired looking where toilet roll holder hanging off the wall and bed side lamp not working.

Disliked: Cold, lukewarm water, awful breakfast.....very disappointing

Very disappointed, no way is...

Liked: The breakfast was a disgrace. There was very little to eat and no staff at all in the hotel. We had to go out and buy breakfast. The tables had used plates and rubbish on them, no staff to clear them. This has a 4 star rating and advertising hot food. The restaurant is closed. No staff on the premises. We will never return ! Nothing to like about it
Disliked: We were here 10 years ago and it was a well run friendly hotel with lovely staff and well run restaurant . We had a full Scottish breakfast ans liked it so much we booked it this weekend. It was actually heartbreaking and needs to close or get new owners. I feel I overpaid and was misled by the advertising.

Very pleasant stay

Liked: Good value for money, comfortable and clean accommodation. Included breakfast was perfectly adequate for our needs with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, breakfast bars, croissants and fresh fruit as well as tea and coffee on a help yourself basis.We arrived on a cold January night during a storm so were very pleased the room was nice and warm.
Disliked: Could not find any real faults.
