Beautiful B&B with wonderful hosts

Liked: Our stay at the Old Rectory was even better than expected. The family room was brilliant, Tim and Helen were so kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were incredible. Perfect location for visiting Longleat and the local area. Comfy beds, excellent facilities and the kids loved the board games!

A delightful place to stay...

Liked: The grounds and the home were beautiful. Our hosts were quite lovely and take great care of their home. The prepared a wonderful Full English Breakfast. They make their own homemade jams (which are available for sale separately from breakfast). Our kids loved Elvis the rocking pig.
Disliked: We arrived in the dark, the only thing I wish was different would be to have a light on the sign. It would have been hard to find without the GPS. Even if it was just a few solar garden lights to help see the sign.

We would happily stay here...

Liked: Tim and Helen were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome. The hot breakfast was very tasty and well presented. A special mention to the delicious homemade jam which you can buy, (so we did!)Can control the heating in the room which you cant always do in places.A great base for exploring nearby attractions.
Disliked: I think a sign before the actual property itself would be helpful. Even tho we followed directions and drove slowly, we still missed the turn off first time around. I unfortunately got backache from the soft mattress in The Avebury Suite but that's just me.

Superb

Liked: An amazing breakfast ,cooked to order. The bed linen smelt amazing and everything was so clean. Helen and Tim were so hospitable and we’d definitely stay again.Thank you.
Disliked: Our room faced a main road which could be a distraction with the window open. Although a fan was supplied in the room.
