Excellent accommodation with comfortable facilities...

Liked: Spacious property and room, large well appointed bathroom, great breakfast for the perfect start to each day. Ruwani is a character and a fantastic host; nothing is too much trouble. Easy walk into Salisbury. Very quiet location.
Disliked: Nothing really. Maybe more hanging for clothes.

Loved our stay, great nights...

Liked: The room was generously sized with an on-suite bathroom, an excellent mattress, great bedding, and double glazed windows for both a quiet and comfortable stay. The hot and cold full breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top.

Welcoming hosts and comfortable stay

Liked: Great location being a 10 min walk to the centre. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. Comfortable and clean room. Parking outside an added bonus. Great breakfast.
Disliked: The room we booked had a separate bathroom (not en-suite) a short walk along the corridor which was not entirely clear from the booking. Regardless, the bathroom was clean, large and modern and therefore only a small inconvenience to pay. Please be aware when booking.

Liked: Ruwani was a very pleasant lady and an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast with a very large choice on the menu and freshly cooked to order.Ideal location with a short 15 minute walk into the city centre.I have no reservations about recommending The Old Rectory and will certainly stay there on my next visit to Salisbury.
