Good for a 1 night...
Liked: Friendly owner and staff, room was clean and bed was comfortable to get our head down for the night. Good location for visiting John Smith stadium was approx £15 in a taxi and walking distance to the bus/train station.
Disliked: Rooms were basic so don't expect luxury. Parking could be limited when hotel is full we managed to just squeeze in the small carpark at the back. There is no breakfast option.

Superb
Liked: Jacqui the manager is fantastic. Nothing too much trouble. Minutes from the Piece Hall and shops.Parking is available to the rear but if full then there are plenty of cheap options very close by.Bed was super comfy and the room was clean.Free WiFi and a good choice of drinks at the bar.I would stay again.
Disliked: None of these are criticisms of my stay. I'm just being accurate. It is a really old building so the soundproofing between rooms isn't the best.I was there for a sold-out gig at the Piece Hall on a Friday night. Some of the occupants were ridiculously loud and I heard them falling over more than once in the early hours. Again, absolutely no fault of the hotel but my autistic son would struggle with the noise and I do like to pass this info on.
