A gem on the countryside

Liked: The place is beautiful and has everything you might need. It’s cozy, comfortable, and visually charming — in my opinion, it has everything one could look for in this area. The vibe is super positive and relaxed: the perfect pause in a road trip, especially if you’ve been driving.What really made the experience even better was the host — incredibly kind, attentive, quick to help, and genuinely welcoming. And to top it all off, we got to meet the house puppy, who absolutely made our day and turned this stop into our favorite one on the journey

Liked: The Old Parsonage is a beautiful, historic building in pretty grounds in Farrington Guerney. It has huge charm and is very comfortable. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast is superb and the host could not have been nicer. The one draw/back for us was the traffic noise from a fairly busy through road beside the property.
Disliked: The traffic noise. Otherwise nothing.

Liked: It was just perfect for us! Extended family of 5. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms with everything you’d need.We felt quite at home here and could easily have stayed longer.We will certainly return on our next visit
Disliked: We wish Ferguson could have come inside and joined us while watching the Telly.

Liked: Nice setting friendly host who made us feel welcome. Plenty of hot water with good shower pressure and thick fluffy towels. Very comfy bed
Disliked: TV signal very intermittent especially BBC channels. Very high window open, rather draughty as weather not so warm.Would be better without rug on floor as detracts from otherwise pleasant decor

Liked: host was nice and helpful pointing out local shops, places to eat and walks etc. the self catered accommodation is very quaint.

Exceptional accommodation

Liked: Quality from the moment you arrived. Welcomed upon and shown around the grounds, breakfast area & room. Breakfast & room were 1st class in all ways.
Disliked: Having to leave.
