Cool place in good location...

Liked: Shower hot with good water pressure. Comfortable beds. Hotel personnel very nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately the hotel is nextdoor to a bar that is loud at night. If you prefer to sleep before 2:00 am, you may have difficulty depending upon the night. Rooms are dark as it is an old warehouse

Awesome Birthday celebration at our...

Liked: The lobby was welcoming and the scent in the air was awesome. The room was spacious and had beautiful decor. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Our room was right outside of the icemaker so there was a lot of noise late at night on Friday and Saturday. The floors were very creaky. Even if we wanted to make the least noise possible when getting up in the middle of the night the floors would creak very loudly. We could also hear the guests above our room when they walked due to the creakly floors.

Very good

Liked: great location, convenient to walk to all points of interest?the Quarter, WWII Museum, top trendy restaurants, and shopping. loved the artsy, cool vibe of the bldg & decor. the lobby smelled wonderful?funny thing to say but it did! the staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful?1st class service. my room 350 was spacious w the old floor to ceiling loft style warehouse windows. loved and used the radio in the room.
Disliked: some moisture issue on outer brick wall as evident by discolored paint, small area. shower?s floor tile could use scrubbing ?the soap scum/stuff discolored the dark tile.

Great Modern Hotel

Liked: In a great location, only a short walk from the French Quarter and in even shorter walk to the Riverside Mall. Attentive staff with great bar and restaurant, if a bit pricey, but we are used to that. Excellent bar staff make proper cocktails, not always the case in New Orleans! Loads of great bars and restaurants nearby anyway. We had a large room with attractive wooden floors and beams and a comfy leather sofa. Well recommended and would love to come back.
