Old 77 is cool and...

Liked: It's a fantastic place. The modernized old building has style and flair. Cool art in the rooms, comfy beds, older style but very functional bathrooms all made the stay nice. Nice high ceilings in the rooms. Complementary water and liquid IV was a great touch. The location was priceless! Within walking distance of French quarter and lots and lots of shopping and attractions. We were there for a concert at the Fillmore and it was very close. I would definitely recommend this lodging to others.
Disliked: No vegan options at the on-site restaurant was a bit disappointing. There was one option for a veggie sandwich, but they were out of avocado and redused to change the price of the sandwich. It was a bit pricey as a place to stay, but I feel that the decor and gallery on-site made everything worth it

Never again

Liked: We say that this property before staff was OK thought I tried it again, but they did me wrong by putting me in the worst room ever and admitting to it after checking out
Disliked: They put me by the exit door and the elevator and the base two clubs across the street. The next morning, when I said I haven't slept the front desk m mention that it was the worst room

Liked: Good location- nice rooms- good restaurant
Disliked: No coffee/tea facilities in the room nor coffee provided in the loungeWe stayed four nights in the hotel and although they mention that housekeeping is done every two nights, none of our rooms ( we had two) were cleaned nor did we receive fresh towels during our stay. Upon check out they mentioned that this was a mistake, but we did not receive any rebate to cover this.Although the hotel tries to communicate a lot online, the real personal communication is very limited and not warm nor welcoming.

Liked: It was such a cool hotel. I really enjoyed the room very different than the traditional modern hotels of today. The lobby was really cool to hang out and chill. The room was very spacious lots of room for myself and my friend. The staff was really nice. Provided us water anytime we asked.
Disliked: The floors were very squeaky. anytime myself or my friend went to the bathroom. we would waking each other up. The bathroom could use a little updating, but it was still really big.
