Liked: Where else would you stay in Mount Gambier? Such cool accommodation. Very passionate and friendly owners. Lovely kitchen and dining area. Loved my cell - heater kept me nice and toasty overnight. Needs more marketing so word spreads about this awesome place!!

Liked: Good location, character hostel.
Disliked: Noisy water pipes at night.

Well worth a stay

Liked: Quirky rooms in the old cells, lots of facilities to cook and location

Needs refurbishment as it looked...

Liked: Had a smell from the toilet all night and the grounds were very tired and in the need of maintenance.

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice experience even though we had dormitory .
Disliked: It’s a shared bath area, however understand that it’s done like that for a reason.
