Liked: The property was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly. Would very happily stay again. We stayed in the Granary room. There's a pub within walking distance for food and drinks.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike!!

Liked: Great staff. Lovely area. Nice room. Everything my dog and I needed for a break.

A nice stay, a memorable...

Liked: Beautiful garden area on the site of an Old Mill.Fantastic bar/restaurant a short walk away.
Disliked: As the host has no control of who books, I cannot fault them- some of the other guests very loud, rowdy and inconsiderate. As it did not happen just one night but on a few nights, the lack of sound proofing between the rooms is a definite low point.

Liked: Nice idea!
Disliked: It’s not Yarm! So that was a surprise. We had planned to spend the night in Yarm and have dinner but had to get a taxi there and back. Had to take our shoes off outside to make sure we didn’t get any dirt on the carpet which was inconvenient. Could do with the entrance not being carpeted. Could hear everything from the rooms either side and any time somebody walked past it felt like it was right outside the door, which it pretty much was! Didn’t give any privacy.

Initial impression of accommodation good....

Liked: Good quiet location
Disliked: Shower leaked and wasn’t very controllable with regards to pressure and temperature. Tea & coffee making facilities…..No tray meaning drinks had to be made on a nice wooden surface ….we used kitchen roll to protect surface to ensure our £150 deposit was secure. Kettle did not fit under the sink tap so had to be filled with water one cup at a time. Tea,coffee and milk supplies not replenished on day two but no fridge to store purchased milk. Only half a toilet roll provided.

Absolutely perfect and I will...

Liked: It was beautifully decorated. Immaculately clean, it had everything I needed. It was in a beautiful location. A lovely little pub just a two minute walk away. Lots of privacy, no contact from the owners but contact details if I needed anything. A perfect getaway.
Disliked: Nothing. There were no breakfast facilities but I knew this when booking and it wasn’t t an issue.
