OK stay

Liked: Good location, friendly staff.
Disliked: Bed was very hard. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Pancakes were luke warm and bacon a bit tuff.

Passable

Liked: The room was a good size with a decent walk in shower. Good sized TV but limited channels. Ideally situated to visit Canterbury as the park and ride is two minutes away and the park and ride service is brilliant. The hotel staff were all very friendly, polite, and helpful. Good parking and easy to get to via the A2.
Disliked: The bed was rock hard giving us two nights of poor sleep. The common areas like the bar and restaurant areas would benefit from a good dusting. The Wi-Fi is poor and keeps dropping out. They restaurant menu is varied but it's pricy for what's on the plate and at breakfast they only provide multi-grain bread without a white bread option so if you are in the Crohns/Collitis/IBS category you'll have to forego the toast. On balance it isn't a hotel we'd use again.

Liked: Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Staff is very helpful and friendly, good location. Car parking provided. The food is very delicious, the service and the wine list are perfect.
Disliked: Bathroom door cannot be shut properly

Liked: The staff, very friendly and nothing was s too much trouble. The locals made us very welcome too, a great bunch of people and a real selling point to the business.
Disliked: Nothing really!

Good location, but tired room

Liked: Was clean and staff were lovely
Disliked: Paper thin walls, noise all night from the road and neighbouring rooms. Room and bathroom was very tired looking.

Exceptional

Liked: The room was spotlessly clean, excellent dinner and breakfast. Very attentive staff.
