Very good

Great experience of old fashion...

Liked: Authentic "inn feel" with great dining for an evening meal and breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Both our rooms were cosy and comfortable. Our rooms provide natural light and overlook farmland. Inn was on the outskirts of Canterbury but right next door to "park and pay" which was very convenient. You could also walk into the center of the city. We would keep this accommodation in mind when going to Canterbury again.
Disliked: As the accommodation is an older style we need to mention that there is not a lift and luggage needed to be carried upstairs which may not be practical for some people.

Much closer and cheaper then...

Liked: The location is fantastic, with plenty of parking out back, it's only a 10 minute drive to Canterbury city centre, or 15 from the Wildlife animal park. The attached restaurant has a fantastic selection of meals and deserts. The breakfast selection was better than any other hotel I've been to.
Disliked: The wifi didn't seem to have a very good signal to our room. Where we couldn't connect devices like a Nintendo switch, but a more powerful laptop would be able to work fine. The internet speed was just about good enough to watch HD videos in.

Disliked: Breakfast could have been better, with wider variety included!

Lovely little place

Liked: Clean room, comfortable and generally nice
Disliked: Can be a bit noisy with the main road but not much can be done about that

Ok, but won’t be staying...

Liked: Breakfast was average, very slow to appear after ordering
Disliked: The bedroom was a good size, bathroom was little more than a cupboard. Bedroom located at front of property on the main road, bed and windows shook when HGVs passing by! Also quite noisy as above bar.
