Old Forge Stable Cottage

Liked: The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice patio for when the sun was out. Good location . We walked into ThorntonLeDale. Not far to drive to Pickering, Helmsley and Whitby. Lovely hosts. We'll be back in the future I'm sure.

Good for a short break

Liked: The property is small and cosy, kitchen is compact and more than adequate. Good size bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Good parking just outside and also a patio seating area though weather precluded it’s use! Bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with sloping ceilings, bed comfortable, clothes storage is downstairs.Location is handy for N York moors and coast.
Disliked: TV reception is very poor, bathroom downstairs if you need the loo in the night. Bit difficult to find, publishing the What3words address would help.
