Set on the banks of the Fowey River Estuary in Bodinnick The Old Ferry Inn has provided food and cozy accommodations for over 400 years. It features a panoramic restaurant and traditional Cornish pub. Rooms feature a TV tea and coffee making facilities and a private bathroom. Many have scenic river views. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the bar and lounge. A full English breakfast is included and The Old Ferry Inn restaurant with fantastic river views towards Fowey and Polruan offers traditional homemade meals with a modern twist. The bar with its log burning stove and original features offers a selection of Cornish real ales and ciders. Guests can also relax on the charming south-facing terraces. The Old Ferry Inn overlooks the Bodinnick to Fowey ferry and 'Ferryside' the former family home of Daphne du Maurier. Guests can also enjoy scenic trails along the Hall Walk or South West Coastal Footpath.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely hotel and staff. In particular, the 2 ladies that looked after us at breakfast, and of course Alfie. Food was always delicious too!
Disliked: The only downside was last ferry at 8.45pm meant that we could only stay at hotel after that time, unless we drove. This wasn't a problem as weather was great to sit on the terrace, but as no lounge area it may not have been so great if we didn't have the weather. But lovely place and people and would definitely return!

Love this place - 2nd...

Wish we could have stayed...

Liked: We booked here after our original accommodation turned out to be a bit grim! The location is amazing. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The food is delicious without being overpriced. Managed to park in the car park no problem. We booked for two nights, but were wishing we’d made it three!! Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Nothing
