Very comfortable, homely, central venue....

Disliked: The abscence of parking would be an issue for some.

Lovely room in one of...
Liked: Room was clean and nicely decorated with complimentary toiletries in the shower room which were appreciated. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast very tasty.
Disliked: Very surprised to find the heater in the room had been left on despite the hot weather and it'd be great to be given even more choice re. breakfast items to avoid waste (eg. tick to select black pudding, tomato etc. as well as kind of egg)

Spotless, comfortable room in a...
Liked: Nice quiet location in characterful back streets, yet just a few minutes' walk to the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Enjoyed a few own-brew beers at the pub, which is evidently a real ale enthusiasts' haunt. The pleasantly appointed and very clean accommodation is in a separate building (the former brewery; the current brewery is in the pub itself) so there wasn't any noise from the pub itself. Enjoyed a comfortable night, then a good breakfast.

Disappointing stay to be honest
Liked: Location was very good
Disliked: Stayed B&B ,and had an evening meal on site unfortunately lots of items were missing on the evening menu , and Beans from breakfast! I get this is not a major thing …. However Tescos is a couple of hundred yards away , there are really no excuses for basic items to be missing from a menu .mattress needs replacing , plumbing needs sorting awful shower . Oh and they brew their own beer but no stout available !
