Liked: Charming jewel box style B and B. Globally quiet, although street-facing rooms (5, 6, etc) are slightly noisy in the morning. Easy free parking (max 3 minutes walking if full on the spot).
Disliked: --breakfast time is between 8 and 9AM : that means that the +/- 20 guests must squeeze in that bracket. We arrived at 8.30AM the 3 mornings: first morning, we had to wait 20 minutes, second morning 40 minutes, third, 5 minutes... This system might be improved. --also, as in many hotels in UK, no air-con ; room 6 under the roof might be scorching hot when outside temperature exceeds 25C. But all in all, I recommend the place.

A gem at the edge...
Liked: Beautifully done, charming retreat just at the edge of a bustling city in the center of the cotswolds. Lovely unhurried breakfast, lovely and clean, staff was great! Enjoyed the garden and it's fairytale entrance. Easy walk to all the shops.
Disliked: My room was,at the top of a very difficult set of stairs. Would ask for a grand floor room next time.

Won’t be back.
Liked: Bed was comfy, location was good
Disliked: Terrible parking unless you’re driving a mini. Tv kept turning on in the middle of the night. En suite was tiny. Very dated room, floor like a skate park. Didn’t even see the staff.

A super guesthouse, very close...
Liked: It was lovely to be greeted by a courtyard full of the sight and scent of flowers! A lot of time and effort clearly goes into maintaining them. The bed was deliciously comfortable, the room cosy and welcoming, and, despite its location on the corner of a junction, we weren't disturbed by traffic at all.Parking in the car park is limited but there's parking along the boundary wall, which should mean you can get a space. We didn't have a problem. Breakfast was excellent! I'm particularly impressed that a cooked breakfast can be presented without the oiliness that so often accompanies the Full English. The staff are helpful and friendly, with tips on shortcuts, eateries and attractions. If you are looking for something very close to the centre of Cirencester but not slap dab in the middle, I think you would be hard pressed to find a guesthouse that ticks so many boxes.
Disliked: There was very little to dislike. If I'm being picky, then the flexible hose showerhead was damaged in our bathroom.
