Absolutely dreadful stay, the rooms...

Liked: Nothing!It says there is a car park, but it’s just some spaces outside and as it’s right next to a garage repair place, the spaces were full with their cars.
Disliked: The bedrooms were dirty especially the bathrooms- they hadn’t been cleaned.The single room had a Velux window with a broken filthy blind. I had to buy an eye mask to be able to sleep there as apparently they were fully booked! The landlady did not even come to speak to me in the evening when she arrived, has promised a refund but that was 10 days ago and still not received it!

Good value for money but...

Liked: Convenient to the town centre, plenty of on street parking, friendly staff behind the bar, bedrooms were adequate for the money we paid and for a few nights stay. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful.
Disliked: The room could have been slightly cleaner, a little dusty and not sure it had been hoovered properly but fine for what we needed the room for. I think the pub had a lock in as we could still hear very loud music at about 3.30am which was quite annoying.

Just about adequate for one...

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, good and very reasonably priced breakfast, clean, cheap accommodation, bathroom OK.
Disliked: The two single rooms in the attic are cramped, no window other than a poorly covered skylight, poorly lit with very basic facilities and no clothes storage, TV didn't work well. However, at £38 a night I'm not complaining. The pub is some way from the town centre.

Comfy but basic room.

Liked: The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels.
Disliked: The carpet had bits on it, such as crisp crumbs. The milk was off, and there was no way of contacting anyone to ask for more. The bottle of water had rust round the fastener. One of the lights flickered incessantly. Would have been better with bedside lights too.
