Average accommodation and food, but...

Liked: The staff were lovely and helpful, easy check in and were made very welcome. They were very busy with the wedding, retirement party plus all other diners, but nothing was too much trouble. Nice beer garden. It was good value for just the one night.
Disliked: The accommodation needs a little TLC, carpets quite worn and bathroom lots of broken tiles, but it was clean. Room was ok but very warm, unfortunately the window won't open very far because the curtain pelmet stops them. Be aware that the motorway is very close and the noise didn't stop all night. Food was only average. There was a wedding on so may want to check this before booking as we had dinner in the bar, which was no problem, but it became very noisy.

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpfull. Rooms lovely and clean. Nice breakfast.
