The Old Bakehouse

Fabulous, restful stay!

Liked: The Old Bakehouse was a perfect place to rest and recoup for a couple of days! The room itself was clean and super comfortable, lovely home cooked breakfast and really fantastic friendly host! Thanks so so much for having us!

Liked: We had a warm welcome from the host. Interesting history to the Old Bakehouse, sympathetically refurbished. Very comfortable en suite bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location for our onward journey. A great find in a lovely town.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and location ideal. Very good selection of LPs!
Disliked: Bed was a little small for us and pillows rather hard. Also staircase difficult for one not walking too well, narrow and seemingly sloping treads.

Liked: Very friendly welcome by two genuine people.Clean comfortable rooms.Delicious breakfast accompanied by my choice of music!Pretty village with two excellent pubs within walking distance.
Disliked: No major issues with our stay.Parking is in a public car park 100 metres from the Bake House.
