Perfect couple of days away.

Liked: Our stay at the okeover arms was lovely, from arrival to departure the staff were very friendly and helpful , the food was was extremely good and .. our room had everything we needed although could do with a full length mirror but that is a minor thing … we had a lovely view from our room and we had snow so that made the view even better .. and sitting by the log fire after a walk was just perfect .. wel definitely be staying here again.

Disliked: We didn’t know what to expect staying in a pub, the staff were amazing & very accommodating & the room was lovely, but unfortunately it was very noisy in our room. We must have been right above the bar area & could hear everything happening downstairs until about 0030. There must be no soundproofing at all. We could hear everything. This is to be expected I guess staying in a pub, however on the next morning just after 7am, a dog came bounding down the hallway past our room & then music was playing at 7:15am. So unfortunately we didn’t get to sleep until late & then was awoken very early. Can’t fault the staff or the location/facilities & I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before but unfortunately it did really affect our stay.
