The Ocean Key Virginia Beach Resort

I made reservations two months before and requested an Oceanside room. I was told they would add a note to my reservation and it wouldn't be a problem. I also called the day before to be sure I was getting an Oceanside room and was told yes and that they also see the note on my reservation. I did not get an oceanside room!

Liked: The room size.
Disliked: The elevator.

Very good

Liked: Location and room cleanliness.
Disliked: Hot Spa water was not hot on one day, next day they have fixed it though

Liked: The rooms was clean and it was comfortable
Disliked: The ac unit needed work it was not beachfront like I thought

Good for the money, but...

Liked: The bathrooms were clean
Disliked: It was not on the beach as I thought it was. My view was of the street, and the traffic noise was annoying. The first bedroom was as soon as you came in the door, the kitchen was extremely small the living room/dining room were small. I did not stay. I checked out the same day I checked in. Especially because I wanted an ocean view not street view.

Disliked: Dust on the calling and walls, hair in the towels, stained blood on the bedsheets

Liked: The pool was fun for my kids
Disliked: It was old and needed to be updated

Great location, but badly in...

Liked: Great location, indoor pool is great, although a bit crowded, and water temperatures were inconsistent
Disliked: Place is badly in need of updating. Some of the staff could be a bit surly.
