The Ocean Key Virginia Beach Resort

I made reservations two months before and requested an Oceanside room. I was told they would add a note to my reservation and it wouldn't be a problem. I also called the day before to be sure I was getting an Oceanside room and was told yes and that they also see the note on my reservation. I did not get an oceanside room!

Relaxing dream vacation

Liked: Everything!!!! Hotel staff is friendly and happy to be there. The room was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pull out bed was made up for my daughter. My daughter said the pullout sofa was comfortable as well. Of course, the kitchen was awesome and a huge way to save money. Ice machines, vending machines, trash, and recycling are conveniently located on every hall. Free laundry facilities are located on the 6th and 8th floor. The staff was absolutely amazing. There was no handicap parking available for an oversized truck on the ground floor, so we had to park on the top story of the parking garage. Staff met us upstairs to let us in through the gym/ game room area. They didn't want me walking down all the levels in a pressure boot, which was so sweet and thoughtful of them. They aloud, my friend and her three kids to stop by that were staying at the campground. We came together and utilized the rooms kitchen to make lunch and dinner, saving both of us money and stress. Also, I absolutely loved that the campground bus stopped for the trolley is right down the street from the hotel, so it was so easy for both of us to meet up and make this vacation even better two families. The pizza place downstairs, located in the lobby of the hotel, it has amazing food. I definitely recommend the meatball parmesan subs. They're french fries, and their wings were also really good.
