Beautiful hotel in great location,

Liked: The old world charm & the location were great.
Disliked: It was a little tricky to work out where reception was & to find someone to be able to check in.

Elegant perfection in the artsy...

Liked: This is a beautiful old building in the Arts Centre. The location is excellent, the rooms are tastefully decorated in restful colours. The lounge area is a lovely place to have a cuppa at any time. Wonderful welcome to the hotel and shown to the room was a nice touch.
Disliked: The fact that guests are inducted on arrival into how the shower controls work, and these instructions are laminated in the room, does indicate perhaps these shower fittings (whilst looking beautiful) may not have been the best choice. That said, if you can get your head around the instructions it works fine.

Liked: Returning guests - location was convenient
Disliked: The insistence on taking such a large hold on credit card for a pre-paid room on a one night stay with returning guests. Many many other properties take a $1 hold or don’t bother at all
