Beautiful rooms full of everything you could need and with plenty of character. Helpful and friendly staff; great food and excellent location for Colchester Station and town. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay there again if in the area.

Liked: Well furnished and equipped.

Good place to stay, convenient...

Liked: Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, comfy and clean room with a very well cooked breakfast - smoked salmon, muffin and soft poached eggs.
Disliked: The room was on the main road and very noisy with single glazing (old, possibly listed building) and very hot due to sudden warm snap.

Reasonably priced for the location....

Liked: Well located. NCP parking close by. Lovely breakfast and staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: Room was very small but as a single room, this was ok for my needs. The walls of the room were very thin though. so I could hear the people staying in the room next to me!

Liked: Lovely little hotel very centrally located in the town centre. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
