Beautiful rooms full of everything you could need and with plenty of character. Helpful and friendly staff; great food and excellent location for Colchester Station and town. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay there again if in the area.

My weekend with very old...

Liked: I was impressed by the warmth of my welcome; I was immediately made to feel comfortable. The friends who met me there for dinner were also impressed ; we all thought the food was excellent. I felt relaxed, among friends. Thankyou for a special weekend!
Disliked: The only thing I can think of here is that the mattress on my bed was much firmer than I am used to, and it took longer for me to fall asleep!
