Very poor food offering, dreadful...

Liked: We use the hotel a few times a year whilst visiting friends in the area, and this is an incredible building in a prime location. In a place where there are few options it is probably still one of the more comfortable places to stay.
Disliked: However the hotel over the last 20 years in continues to go down hill every year, visit after visit, with cut back after cut back. Once a 1st class hotel with fine dining drawing locals and viisitors, it is now tired this last weekend seems to just draw local drinkers. The fine dining has long gone, and the current food option is very poor quality. Breakfast used to be very good here, but on this visit again it was very poor quality. Food and service is so low now I am not sure what more they can cut back on. It will be interesting to how long the Hotel can sustain itself at this levelof customer service.
